PARTICIPATION OF STUDENT WORKS OF THE DPDA IN THE ART EXHIBITION "FRONTPAGE NEW 2025" | Department of Performing and Digital Arts

In the FRONTPAGE PROJECT 2025, the Department participates invited, with student projects that perform bridges with digital elements, highlighting social dimensions of information, such as those related to fake news and propaganda in modern forms of news. Participations are presented through a range of media: digital online works, digital and interactive compositions, video performances and participatory actions. The works come from the undergraduate courses Digital Image Processing, Installations and Digital Media, Programming and Art II, Set Design-Outdoor Space, Critical Analysis of Performances in collaboration with the course Directing II (TCS)

WHAT IS FRONTPAGE

FRONTPAGE is an evolving interdisciplinary initiative that explores the impact of headlines and media on society and culture, taking news to an artistic and conceptual level! It is co-organized by the European Institute of Communication and the Office of the European Parliament in Greece, in collaboration with the Athens and Macedonian News Agency, the artistic group AxionArt, the Institute of Mediterranean Culture and is implemented with the support of the Municipality of Athens OPANDA.
