- 🔵 ERASMUS+
-
The Erasmus+ Program derives its name from the widespread recognition of the original Erasmus Program within the framework of previous European Higher Education initiatives. As the European Commission’s flagship program for education, training, youth, and sport, it aims to enhance skills and employability while modernizing education, training, and youth systems across all sectors of Lifelong Learning. Erasmus+ provides students enrolled in Higher Education Institutions at all levels of study (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral) with the opportunity to undertake a period of study at a partner institution abroad with full academic recognition of their studies. Additionally, students have the opportunity to carry out an Internship (Traineeship) at an international host organization, also with full recognition for the duration of their work.

Student mobility at the Department of Performing and Digital Arts (DPDA) is conducted through the Erasmus+ program and is centrally regulated by the 📘 Institutional Erasmus+ Regulations (University of Peloponnese) [last updated on Jan 26, 2026]. The Department oversees the implementation of Erasmus+ through an Academic Coordinator, appointed by the General Assembly. The Academic Coordinator collaborates with the University’s Erasmus+ Office and host institutions, while also initiating new bilateral agreements that align with the Department's research and artistic interests.Furthermore, the Coordinator organizes information sessions to promote the program and evaluates applications for Erasmus+ grants from departmental students, as well as applications from incoming Erasmus+ students, once per semester. On an individual level, the Coordinator provides academic guidance regarding mobility—from selecting a host institution to choosing courses abroad—and is responsible for the recognition of credits within the Department. Finally, Coordinators oversee the smooth integration and advising of incoming Erasmus+ students. Informational material regarding partner institutions for outgoing students is available on the UoP Erasmus+ website and the DPDA website. Starting from the 2024-2025 academic year, the DPDA also provides a 📕 Personal Welcome Brochure for Erasmus students containing all essential information
