Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are part of the new Erasmus+ Programme 2021-27, under Action KA131 "Student and Staff Mobility in Higher Education." These are short-term programmes that employ innovative learning and teaching methods, including the use of online collaboration. To implement such a programme, a minimum of 15 (or 20) students must participate from two (or more) partner institutions located in different countries from the host institution. The programme's duration includes a physical mobility component lasting 5 to 30 days, which must necessarily be combined with a virtual activity. Participating students and staff are funded through the Erasmus+ mobility grants of their respective sending institutions.
The programme awards a minimum of 3 ECTS credits. Please note that if a Call for Expression of Interest—as announced by the Erasmus Offices of the University of the Peloponnese—concerns multiple Departments, the available positions will be allocated with the additional criterion of equal representation among Departments. In the event that the host institution offers additional positions, the first runners-up (alternates) will be selected. Participants must submit an application in response to the relevant Call for Student/Staff Mobility for Teaching or Training issued by their University. Information regarding BIPs organized by other institutions can be obtained through independent online research, announcements on University websites, the Erasmus+ Offices, or through the Erasmus+ Academic Coordinators.
