'Erasmus in Nafplio was the richest experience I have ever had, both personally and emotionally. Distanced from the purely academic part, thanks to the wonderful places and friendly people I met, I was able to connect directly with the historical pillars of theatre. Thanks to this experience, today I consider myself much stronger and prepared to face professional life and all the uncertainties that surround us in our profession.'

My stay in Greece was a gift and the experience I had there is a treasure that I never want to forget. It was full of surprises and adventures, I met wonderful people who taught me gastronomy, culture, traditions, dances and songs. I got to know another way of life, another way of seeing the world and I learned a lot from it. I travelled, visited museums, enjoyed the theatre and also learned to spend many moments alone, in which I assure you I experienced all kinds of emotions. I am now readjusting to the rhythms and routine of my former life, without losing sight of all that I have experienced in that country which I will always carry in my heart.

I am Amanda Velloso. I came here on Erasmus mobility from Spain in February to study at the University of Peloponnese in the beautiful city of Nafplio. Looking at my journey now in July when I'm going back, I can see that this was the best decision I could have made. I have had a wonderful time living here, learning about every subject offered by the university and getting to know both a faculty that has given me all the help in the world in English and classmates that I now consider close friends. Thanks to the Department of Performing and Digital Arts, I have attended theatre workshops, theatre research with dramaturgy workshops and excursions that have been very interesting and rewarding. I feel very grateful, especially to the Erasmus coordinator Athena Stourna, who made my mobility possible. Thanks to this mobility, I am taking a little piece of Nafplio back to my city that I will remember all my life.
