On Saturday, May 31, the DPDA conducted its first study visit, aiming to provide students with an in-depth introduction to the contemporary Greek art scene (installations, painting, sculpture, digital arts, etc.). The itinerary included the following visits: George Xenos: "Confusion" (3 Installations) | Eleftherias Park | Meeting with the artist and the curator. // Cabinets of Curiosities: Works by Greek Artists | MOMus–Alex Mylona Museum | Guided tour by curator Yannis Bolis. // Plásmata III: "We’ve met before, haven’t we?" | Onassis Stegi.

2nd Academic Excursion

On Saturday, November 8, the DPDA held its second study visit. The initiative aimed to further immerse students in the contemporary Greek art landscape, covering diverse fields such as installations, painting, sculpture, and digital arts. The program featured the following visits: PROSTOLEIA: From Early Script to Mature Work" | Benaki Museum (Pireos St. Annexe) | Featuring works by Hadjikyriakos-Ghika, Tsarouchis, Moralis, Katraki, Spyropoulos, Mytaras, Gaitis, and Romanou. // Backstage Tour | Greek National Opera (GNO). // "MERDE" by Suyako (Dir. G. Koutlis & V. Magouliotis) | Piraeus Municipal Theatre.

3rd Academic Excursion

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, DPDA conducted its third study visit, dedicated to the 16th Athens Video Dance Project (AVDP)—the International Dance Film and Performance Festival. Students engaged with a curated collection of dance works, video dance, and performance art under the curatorial theme "Natural Responses" (Featured image: baleines).
